Half-backs |
By Ethan Holly |
Despite some obvious
differences between Varsity
football player Mitchel Hunt
and Aztyke Jacob Anderson,
the two share at least one
thing in common: both are
pretty good tacklers. |

Consider
this scenario: One sunny day you discover
that your homeowners association has
incurred a financial liability in excess of
its ability to pay, and that its insurance
policy either covers substantially less of
the amount owed or does not cover it at all. |

Two South
Tempe residents are among 13 members of a
task force studying the negative effects of
rentals on city neighborhoods. After the
group’s initial meeting Sept. 27, member
Tammy Billington said the emphasis so far,
however, seems to be on areas other than
South Tempe. |

Man and his best friend trot
across movie screens all across the country
this month in search of rabbits in a pumpkin
patch. Wallace (voice by Peter Sallis) and
Gromit (his silent but cerebral dog) are
owner-operators of a pest control company
called Anti-Pesto.

Tempe and Chandler residents have known for
years: the two neighboring cities are among
the nation’s best for young people.

Signs bring life to already hot issues |
By Pam Goronkin |
Don’t you just love election season? All those roadside posters really bring some life to intersections we’d hardly noticed before.
