'It was a great day for the kids'
Several area families got a chance to ride in an authentic stagecoach around the Casa Paloma Shopping Center at the southwest corner of Ray Road and 56th Street as part of the center’s Wild West Sidewalk Sale.
In addition to stagecoach rides for families, the center hosted a Find the Strong Box Contest for adults.
The authentic, old-fashioned box filled with prizes, donated by the merchants of Casa Paloma, was found in Traditions apparel store.
Ahwatukee Foothills resident Linda Grabowski and her daughter Allison were the first to find the box.
"Everyone had a lot of fun," says event planner Mary Walker. "Especially the kids who loved riding in the stage coach. It was a great day."
