Tempe finance director new CEO of innovative Las Vegas golf resort
Rich Oesterle, former finance director for the city of Tempe, has been named president and chief executive officer of Greens Worldwide Inc., described as a unique, world-class putting facility and one-of-a-kind, 24-hour golf entertainment center in Las Vegas.
Prior to leaving Tempe, Oesterle spearheaded a large capital-improvements and bond-election program.
He is a graduate of the University of Arizona with a master’s degree in organizational management from University of Phoenix.
A statement from Greens Worldwide says the new facility, situated a mile from the southern part of the Las Vegas Strip and just around the corner from the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, is expected to become the city’s “premier golf-theme attraction.”
