Area Girl Scout earns coveted ‘Silver Eagle’
Lisa Brem, 15, a sophomore at Corona del Sol High School, has earned the Silver Award, the Girl Scouts’ second highest honor.
The award was presented at a ceremony at the Mill Avenue Bridge. Lisa, along with a few other girls, planned and carried out a pajama party for the neighborhood Brownie girl Scouts at Camp Sombrero. It was an overnight event filled with lots of activities, music, songs, games, crafts, food and, of course, a pajama contest.
Lisa experience and leadership skills to put carry out the event, which required more than 100 hours of planning.
