A night to remember
Girls
and their dads can enjoy a night in an enchanted forest--and create lifelong
memories--at the 12th annual Daddy Daughter Sweetheart Dance,
planned for the pre-Valentine’s Day weekend at Kiwanis Recreation Center.
Dances
will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 11 for little ladies ages 4 to 7 and
Saturday, Feb. 12 for young ladies ages 8 to 12.
The
center will be transformed into an enchanted forest where fairies can roam
and flutter around. Center staff will welcome young ladies and their escorts
to a memorable evening of dancing the night away.
There
will be make-and-take art projects, games, entertainment and refreshments
for dads and daughters to enjoy together.
Each
family will receive a memory photo as well as a rose for each young lady.
Advance
registration is required due to limited space. Registration on or
before Feb. 6 is $20 per couple per night; each additional child is $6 per
night. Registration from Feb. 7 through 12 is $32 per couple per night
and $6 per additional child for each evening.
