Friends to host Nov. 3 library book sale

Members of Friends of the Tempe Public Library will hold its fall used-book sale Saturday, Nov. 3, in the library's lower-level Program Room.

The event will begin with a special members-only sale from 9 to 10 a.m.  The sale will be open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 

The event will feature more than 6,000 paperback and hardback books for adults and children at bargain prices, ranging from classics to recent bestsellers.  A selection of compact disk recordings and videos will also be available. 

Members of the Tempe Historical Museum will also be present to sell items from their gift shop.
Kyrene Corridor residents who wish to join may purchase a membership on the day of the sale or by completing a membership application at the Library or via the Friends Web site at www.tempe.gov/library/friends.

Friends of the Library is a non-profit organization which, through its fundraising activities, sponsors programs for adults and children, purchases library equipment and furnishings, and promotes the Library's activities.
