Sponsor returns for ‘04 ‘Oktoberfest’

Tempe Sister City is pleased to announce that Beaudry RV Mesa will once again be the title sponsor of their annual fund-raiser, Tempe’s Way Out West Oktoberfest to be held this year Oct 1-3 at Tempe Beach Park.

This will be the 32nd year of the event, produced by over 2,000 Tempe Sister City volunteers to raise money to support international student / teacher exchange trips and humanitarian projects with Tempe’s seven “sister” cities.

“We are delighted to have Beaudry RV as our partner and appreciate their financial support for our award-winning programs” states Richard Neuheisel, President and founder of TSC. Founded in 1971, TSC has been recognized as one of the leaders in Sister Cities International for its innovative programs. Currently maintaining active relationships with seven sister cities all over the world, TSC relies totally on volunteer support to develop and maintain its programs. TSC supports its sister cities with much-needed school and medical supplies and offers an active student / teacher exchange program.

Funds from the 2003 Beaudry RV Way Out West Oktoberfest helped TSC send 26 high school student delegates on international exchange trips this summer – including the 500th student to participate in the TSC exchange program.

“Beaudry RV is proud to once again partner with TSC for their Way Out West Oktoberfest. After all, our business is family”, said Mark Nunzio, General Manager of Beaudry RV Mesa. “It is a great opportunity to show our continued support for the community and fits our corporate mission -- to fulfill dreams of fun and adventure.”
