In a difficult year, three burgeoning faith communities in Tempe and West Chandler, have not lost their spirit of giving.

Chandler is requesting proposals from qualified entities for a vacant building at 51 E. Boston St., between Arizona Avenue and Washington Street.

Chandler-based Local Motors has signed a lease for 10,000 square feet at Chandler Tech Center, 7400 W. Detroit St., with 80 percent of the building dedicated to office space, the remainder for research and development.

Tempe is participating in the no-cost Financial Navigator Program to help residents manage money woes during the holiday season.
