Some like ’em sweet, some like ’em sour, but everyone loves the candy and fun that Halloween brings every year. Halloween kicks off the fall season with changing leaves, cooler weather and is the first holiday of the season.
As everyone parades around their community dressed as their favorite horror character or even funny costume, the debate of the king of candy is always the tricky topic.
We asked some of our city officials on their choice, and all three shared a similar palate.
Tempe Mayor Corey Woods said he loves the combination of chocolate and peanut butter, the sweet and savory contrast takes the cake, “I would easily eat Reese’s peanut butter cups frankly all day.”
Tempe Vice President Jennifer Adams concurred on the decision on the chocolate and peanut butter.
Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke said he also loves the peanut and chocolate combination, but opted for peanut M&M’s instead.
