The Arizona State Sun Devil football team will be back on the field again before you know it, and with that comes the opportunity for another season of exciting pre-game festivities. This season the City of Tempe is partnering with ASU to offer a pre game tailgate before their season opener.
Live music, prizes and locally made barbecue will be offered. The new Tempe City Council will also be on hand to welcome everyone to the event. Kids can meet Sparky and you can enjoy the cool temperatures as this is the perfect Arizona tailgate – indoors.
The pre game event will be held at Old Main on the ASU campus on August 30, from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. before the Devils take on Northern Arizona University at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets for the tailgate are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under. Tempe residents can also get tickets for a discount of up to 35 percent off for the game, as it is the City of Tempe night at Sun Devil Stadium. For ticket information please call (480) 727-3521.
