South Tempe residents and their citywide neighbors who receive this year’s satisfaction survey are being asked to return the completed forms in the enclosed envelope no later than Dec. 31.
Each year, the city of Tempe mails a survey to 2,400 randomly selected residents to ask their input on everything from parks and streets to police and fire service.
The form takes approximately 10 minutes to complete.
ETC Institute, of Olathe, Kan., administers the survey for Tempe. This year’s survey will be mailed out in late November.
Residents who receive surveys are provided a self-addressed, stamped envelope to return their responses. Some recipients may receive a telephone-call reminder to complete the survey if they haven’t already done so. Results remain confidential and the city will not be informed which residents received or completed surveys.
Survey questions deal with the level of satisfaction residents have with police, fire, parks, streets, recreation classes, communication and more. ETC Institute will compile and present the results to the mayor and City Council next year.
Questions can be addressed to Community Relations Administrator Shelley Hearn at 480-350-8906.
